For October’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month, I want to continue to share various aspects of abuse and brokenness. Too many do not realize the level of devastation that occurs to victims of adultery and infidelity.
For many victims are trapped…
in a nightmare of a life.
And many others are unfaithful…
returning to their husband or wife.
For immorality is a problem…
from porn to infidelity.
And its these immoral things…
that feeds the sex industry.
Because many think it’s nothing…
and it’s just innocent fun.
But how would they feel…
if the stolen is their daughter or son.
We always need to remember…
how others would possibly feel.
If we put ourselves in their place…
maybe then it would be a big deal.
Matthew 7:12, The Golden Rule:
“Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you.”
Dear Lord, only You see the extent of what is happening around the world and the destruction that has come against Your children and their families. I pray that You open the hearts of Your children to turn to You and raise them up to the level of righteousness that You call us to. I pray that You rescue Your children from the bondage that holds them captive whether in their homes with pornography or the physical bondage of trafficking. Deliver us all from evil and heal the wounds of our past… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The sadness unending due to immorality affects so many lives – not only the “culprits” but all their extended physical and spiritual families too, if they profess to be “Christians. May those who have a conscience listen to their “guilty conscience” for surely they know it is not according to God’s plan. May they cease from their deviant ways, and turn around to God who is waiting for them to come back home and make things right.
