Let It Go.

What happens when people try to hurt us? How do we respond?letting go

A reckless driver cuts you off while you’re driving on the Interstate.
Let it go.

Your sister holds a grudge against you for a misunderstanding five years ago.
Let it go.

A friend from church betrays a confidence and ruins your friendship.
Let it go.

A co-worker who makes a costly mistake blames you for making it.
Let it go.

A manager criticizes your work ethic at a company meeting.
Let it go.

Your cousin accuses you of stealing and lying about it.
Let it go.

A Facebook friend attacks your Christian beliefs.
Let it go.

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 11:11-14

About Steve Sawyer

God blessed me with the gift of writing. Mom told me I wrote paragraphs in second grade when others were learning to write sentences. I spent more than three decades in professional writing gigs. For the past eight years I've combined my passion for writing with my love for the Lord. He and I write a Christ-centered, family-friendly blog to glorify God Monday-thru Friday at https://stevensawyer.wordpress.com/. My wife and I have four grown children and two precious granddaughters we co-parent with their mom. I'm a Galatians 2:20 disciple of Christ seeking to allow Christ to live His life in me, through me, and as me.

Not so easy to let go, but we can if we decide and want to, in His strength. Amen.
