Wounds have been my subject
with fear and PTSD.
And these wounds are in layers
where deep healing needs to be.
And when we think it’s all done
and the healing is complete.
Then another layer is revealed
and more healing we need to seek.
For a fallen world we live
and abusers will continue to intimidate.
But we can overcome…
and this I need to reiterate.
God knows we are human
with many weaknesses at best.
And these recurrent fears
are part of this world’s test.
So when those dreaded fears
come rushing back like a flood.
They may cause anxiety and tears
but we can’t get stuck in the mud.
We have to rise above the fear and pain
 with God’s  praises we will sing.
 Knowing that He goes before us…
and we are children of the Most High King.

Dear Lord, You see the wounds that are hidden deep within each heart and soul. We ask for total healing and deliverance from the abuses of our pasts. We release all fear for it is not of You and we bind the enemy that tries to come against us with oppression. Raise us up to higher levels of faith in You, above the troubles of this world where these abuses will no longer effect us… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
