HE LIFTS US UP: Do Nothing… See Nothing… Hear Nothing… and Say Nothing?

These pictures are  so cute… but not when you put it under the reasoning of abuse. Then it becomes sad. It is sad that many people that witness or even suspect abuse, chose to say nothing, pretend they heard nothing, and close their eyes to the abuse and what their failure to speak up causes the victims. Whether a small child, student, a spouse, or a co-worker, who ever is being abused or bullied, in what ever circumstance, any one who suspects or knows should not stick their head in the sand and no nothing. Speak out. Don’t let a victim suffer in your own silence… They may not be old enough to protect themselves… or they might just be too broken to protect themselves. This child is so cute, but these monkeys are not as cute. Please don’t be like these monkeys and do nothing… see nothing… hear nothing… and say nothing. Victims of abuse need our help…

Dear Lord, I ask you to give courage to those who witness any kind of abuse so that they will speak out and reach out to help victims. Give them the  assertiveness and boldness to stand up for what is right and help protect the innocent. Please give them a voice for those who are voiceless or too broken in Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I learned many years later there were family members who suspected I was being abused and said nothing. So for 18 years all were silent. Reblogged on Cyber Support Group. Thank you for bringing this out.

Most people have no earthly idea how abuse affects a child. It is a life time sentence of pain unless we allow the Lord to bring the healing. SPEAK UP.

Amen!! We have to speak up. Abuse has been hidden in silence for too long and has affected millions of victims because we have kept it hidden. God bless you, my sister for all that you do to help victims of abuse.

Abusers depend on this type of thinking from their victims. Children are trained to not tell what goes on in the abuser’s home…made to feel guilty for forming bonds with other caring adults…Isolation is a tool of an abuser…
