This message is for the many who have suffered the brokenness of infidelity and it’s deception. Adultery or infidelity is glamorized in movies and most do not really understand the pain and brokenness that comes with it. I pray that more people will come to understand and have compassion for these victims.
Castaway…
is the word that came to my mind.
As I thought of infidelity…
and the damage left behind.
For those who are wounded…
by a spouse’s adultery and deceit…
Feel thrown to the side…
with insurmountable feelings of defeat.
How could it have happened…
and what could they have done?
They had vowed to love each other…
since the day their marriage had begun.
But they now feel “cast-away”…
lost in an ocean of doubt.
Like their “love” was a lie…
and deception was what their marriage was about.
Where did the lies start…
and how deep does the deception go?
These are all questions…
that these victims want to know.
For the wounds are deep…
when these victims are cast-aside.
And the emotions are rampant…
with a brokenness they can’t hide.
Because marriage is entered…
with Love and with trust.
But when that trust is broken…
it’s like a damn that has bust.
The pain is overwhelming…
and the doubts start pouring in.
How can this marriage be saved…
or does it come to an end?
Now I can tell you…
from one who has been cast away.
God will never leave or forsake you…
so trust Him each and every day.
He has plans for your future…
for good and not for harm.
So trust Him to guide you…
as you lean against His Arm.
God will never abuse or neglect you…
and will never cast you away.
So give Him your life and your marriage…
and say, “Lord, just have Your Way.”

Prayer: Dear Lord, I lift up all victims of infidelity or adultery to You and ask You to heal their wounds and bring restoration to their lives. Only You know if these marriages should be saved and if the infidelity will continue or not. Only You know the condition of each heart. I ask You to turn hearts to You and orchestrate their lives. Raise up an Army to speak out about the dangers of infidelity and the destruction that awaits those who partake of this plan of the enemy… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

What I just needed to read! God bless!
Thanks and many blessings to you!
The word is “Covenant”…Dying to yourself, living for the other. Putting the other first, yourself last. Messiah died for us, to redeem us. When truly experiencing His Cross, we die to ourselves and live in and for/through Him. The New Covenant Gospel. Marriage is the same.
If the Lord brings the man and woman together. Then the Lord empowers the faithfulness to one another. Nourishes it, sustains it. Strengthens the bond. Unless one willingly violates the covenant in rebellion, inviting darkness to reign.
Amen.
Amen!!
Amen!! Yes, it is a “Covenant” and God is a Covenant keeping God since the beginning of time. We have to die to self for our spouse and especially for God. More of God. Less of ourselves. I pray that more marriages will put God first and foremost in their lives, walking a righteousness path, and raising up the next generation of youth to serve Him. Thank you so much Gary for all of your support!!
