As we look around this country
with our July 4th celebrations,
we see many things have changed
from the previous generations.
Our country has become complacent
with increasing immorality.
From drugs, sexual activity…
violence, and even brutality.
Many are being abused…
at home, schools, and work too.
And as we look around,
we wonder what we can do.
But God gave us a warning,
many years ago.
Then included this prayer,
that we should all know.
So I pray it today…
and ask you to join me.
For it is only with God’s grace,
that we can truly be free.

^” If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

Dear Lord, You see the hearts of all across the land with the declining morality and increased violence.  I pray for a mighty move of Your Spirit across the world to transform hearts. Set them free from the bondage that holds them captive to sin. Bring healing to all the wounds of our pasts that darken our vision and steal our hope. Open the eyes of Your children who have become complacent in their acceptance of sin and restore this nation to stand with You in righteousness to accomplish what You called us to from the beginning of time. Lord, we humbly come to You in prayer like we are called to and pray for this nation and this world. We seek Your Face and turn from our wicked ways. We repent for our sins and the sins of all our bloodline from the beginning of time. We ask for forgiveness as we repent and ask for healing all across the land… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
