Many people think Christianity is religion. It’s not! Christianity is an actual experience where forgiveness from God actually becomes reality in your heart and conscience.
Forgiveness is found by you…because you placed your belief in a Saviour that bled and died on the cross…for you personally! Forgiveness is freedom from the bondage of sin. The heart is made clean by the Grace of God. Forgiveness is freedom from the guilt in your conscience caused from all past sins. Only the Grace of God that flows from Calvary can offer man the true experience of forgiveness from sin. This forgiveness is the actual experience of becoming a child of God.
This forgiveness shows man Christ is supreme above all other God’s and religions. The clean heart and the forgiveness of sins is not a religious experience but a real life experience that you know is real. Not only did Christ die so we could be forgiven. Christ rose from the grave so we (Christians) could walk in a newness of life.
This newness of life and character is an actual experience produced in the heart of a believer by a Living Saviour that is a supreme being. He is the creator of all things. Col. 1 Christ is greater than religion. Christ is greater than politics. Christ is greater than our social affairs. Christ controls the economy. Christ is above all things…He is the head of the Church, the body of Christ.
Col 1:14-18…In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church:
Christian’s are members of that body! Christian’s are ambassadors (representatives) for Christ. How? Why? Because they received the actual Christian experience. Forgiveness of sins and a holy heart! No other religion in the world can provide man with forgiveness from sin, a holy heart, and a life of peace and contentment until eternity. Christianity is not to be mistaken for religious practice. Christianity is where forgiveness is found, the holy life is lived out, and the living person of Christ has full sway of your life. You are subject to a living Christ! Christian’s experience God through Christ! Christians have faith in the image of the invisible God. Bible faith fortifies, builds, and gives evidence of the true and living Christ. Heart and life experience proves the reality of Christianity! Religion cannot take away sin! The person of Christ can! Religion cannot give you a holy heart. The person of Christ can! I testify to such experience and you will too! Glory! I leave this following verse about the blessing of Christ that comes to the Christian heart by the Grace of God.
Titus 2:10-14…that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Amen RickRoehm. In Christ is everything. Forgiveness, reconciliation, wisdom, real life, holiness, purity. Wow. We praise you Almighty Lord Jesus. Father God for your mercy and grace. Holy Spirit for drawing us to God, and keeping us as we submit to you alone. Dead. Yet just now alive. God Bless Brother.
Holiness of heart my Brother’s and Sisters begins at the new birth. Living out the holy life is the secret to “real christian living”. By having a holy heart, you’re doing what is well pleasing in God’s sight. You will be the man or woman that God intended for you to be. There is no shame about living holy as God makes people that way. It’s called, “True Christianity”. The Spirit of God doesn’t draw believers into a gradual holiness; holiness is found, experienced, and lived out by you, the believer in Christ. The Bible says men are made holy in the new birth. Holiness is the changed moral make-up of the the child of God. It’s proven by your walk, your talk, your character, and your behavior.
1 Thess 2:10…Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:
God’s Spirit draws the unbelieving world to holiness when they hear the Gospel preached. The ministry of the Holy Spirit comes through the Gospel message. Conviction from the Spirit of God comes upon the sinner when he first hears about Christ..not the saint who has already accepted Christ. The Spirit’s conviction draws sinful men to holiness as the Gospel message shows sinful men what they really are in light of a crucified Christ. Christian’s are not drawn to holiness, they are made holy and righteous in the miracle of the new birth. Holiness doesn’t come through religious practices. Holiness is the fruit of the Grace of God in the believers heart and life.
May each of us readers experience that inner change that the Lord wants for each of us in our daily lives – a change that will also impact and change the world we live in -where there is hatred, may we serve love, where there is pain and suffering, may we serve the healing balm of Gilead and where we cannot do it, let us lift our hearts to our Intercessor sitting at the right of God and ask Him to send mercy and grace to the hearts who need that touch that only He can heal. O we do not need another religion, what the world needs is Jesus , Saviour and Lord… for each sin weary heart…
for He calls us not to a religion but to Himself.. Come unto Me all you who are heavy-laden and I will give you rest. Come to Jesus.
