Abusers and bullies…
seldom change their ways.
They just change their tactics…
but the intimidation stays.
Like waiting in a line…
then turning to see…
an abuser within arms reach…
just looking right at me.
And looking up one day…
  only to shockingly see…
  the abuser through glass…
staring back at me.
But how do we handle…
the temptation to run…
feeling your abusers waiting…
and stalking has begun?

Like anxiously working one day…
and trying to ignore he’s around.
Then he plops down beside you…
so his presence would be found.
Then getting into an elevator…
and turn around to see…
the abuser across the hall…
staring right at me.
But what do we do…
with these feeling of fear.
Knowing your abuser harmed you…
and that he is again near.
Being in the same building…
with work to be done…
and you just can’t hide…
and you definitely can’t run.
Just let someone know…
so others can be aware.
Cause abusers seldom change…
and of their tactics beware.
For they lie and deceive…
even stalking their next prey.
So beware of these people…
who do anything to get their own way.

Dear Lord, protect all of Your children and expose those who continue to torment them. Expose abusers who deceptively stalk their victims with intimidation and ill-intent. Bring all that is done in darkness, into the Light and bring healing and restoration to all those wounded by those who deceive and bring harm to others in any way… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
