I heard this song…
and just want to share.
For many have been wounded…
with scars here and there.
For there are even scars…
that the eyes can’t see.
But none of those scars…
are hidden from Thee.
For God sees all our wounds…
down to our spiritual depths.
And He knows all our pain..
our shame and regrets.
But He is our Healer…
so totally trust His Hand.
For He will never hurt us…
and we have to understand.
Where man causes harm…
through so much abuse.
God turns it for good…
and these scars He will use.
For they are evidence…
of the pain in our past.
But our overcoming it…
is a testament to Him that will last.

Dear Lord, only You see the scars deep within the hearts and souls of Your children. We ask for total healing and restoration from all the brokenness of our pasts. Help us to rise up to the calling that You have on each of our lives as we overcome the abuses we have endured and let our lives be a testament to Your Glory… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
