An old Cherokee chief said to his grandson, “My son, there are two wolves inside all of us that battle all the time.
One is evil. It is anger, jealousy, envy, greed, resentment, inferiority, fear, ego, disappointment, doubt and fear,” the chief said. “The other is good. It is joy, love peace, hope, kindness, empathy, patience, compassion, gentleness and truth.”
His grandson thought for a moment in silence. Then he asked, “Grandfather, which one wins?”
The old man quietly replied, “The one you feed.”
