Back in April, I went to Nicaragua. Before I left I made a few videos I referred to in some earlier posts. We never shared the actual content but commentary on it. So for the next several days we will share the videos. Here’s to making your own judgments and commentary.
These videos were to take my place in Family Worship while I could not be here. They cover the first few chunks of the story of God in the Bible. This one starts before the beginning. Keep in mind these will all be super short. Our daughter had just turned 2 in February and even these videos, minimally kept her attention.
I welcome your feedback. I would love to steal some pointers from you all on how you tell the story of God in your times of Family Worship. I pray there will be something in these videos that may help you out along the way as well, even if it is just getting a laugh at my cutesy voice that my daughter has somehow turned on and kept on for over 2 and half years.

Wow! This is the first time in my six decades of being a Christian, that I am hearing of Lucifer, the devil and satan in such a simple manner. In the east, it may be more suitable for perhaps a five year old to understand.
Thanks. I have been thinking lately about something I keep hearing repeated as attributed to C.S. Lewis. The gist of the idea is that you don’t fully comprehend something unless you can explain it to a 4 year old. Hearing that is a little terrifying because I start really thinking about how that works and how little I’ve ever had to explain to 4 year olds and just kind of assumed that I fully understand after hearing or reading.
You are doing a good job – Praise the Lord and continue!
