Day two of the family worship video session picks up the story in the beginning, again. I want to turn my gaze to God’s glory as often as possible. Naturally, in family worship that gaze becomes a collective goal.
You’ll notice that I am using oral story telling rather than the text itself. We do read the Bible and Bible stories together and to her on occasion. At this stage, during Family Worship we don’t.
These are going to be mostly around 2 minutes. That is not an intentional educational tactic, it just happened. It creates some incentive to share with a larger audience though. I have heard that it is a good practice to do 1 minute per the year of the child’s age. I have also found that to be false (or at least not hard and fast) by teaching music and children’s church.
Practice makes perfect – the effectiveness of your style and the child’s knowledge of God and His ways. Keep going you are doing fine! I pray many young parents will be blessed by your example.
