For most us, we face different trials and problems that we struggle hard everyday. This is evident by the fact that our society deals with depression and anxiety at record’s high during the last decades.
Whenever I encounter uncertainties and doubts in life, it is very easy for me to fall prey with the devil’s deceit that God does not care about me or that He has forgotten me. However, the Word of God gently speaks to me His truth , “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). With the relationship I have with God through Christ’s death on the cross, I know despite not seeing, that I am loved and cared for. I am cherished and guided through the rough roads. King David, when faced with the same doubts, reminded himself that “weeping may tarry for a night yet joy comes in the morning.”
May these words encourage us during our times of need for comfort and assurance that God is always for us and not against us. The unseemingly endless problems, lack, temptations and trials we have are not meant to break us in pieces but these are meant to remind us that our help comes from the God of the heavens, the Creator and our loving Father.
When we know the deep, deep love of Jesus we know we are never alone.
