Demon possession: Mark 5

As Christian we need not fear for the Name of Jesus is above all – of things above, on and beneath earth. At His name every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. We need only call on the name of Jesus to dispel any evil activity.

“Can people really be possessed by demons?”

When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an evil spirit came from the tombs to meet him. This man lived in the tombs, and no one could bind him any more, not even with a chain. For he had often been chained hand and foot, but he tore the chains apart and broke the irons on his feet. No one was strong enough to subdue him.     What kind of power can demons have to possess a human body and soul? Demons like angels are pure spirits. They can access other spiritual realms. Demons has the faculty to access souls that have not been 1. Baptized in the name of the Trinity 2. Reject God and natural settings
