Repost from a friend’s Instagram today. This, after I received concerning texts from a dear one who lives in the Philippines. Not a good situation there either with the COVOD -19 virus. So no matter what country you live in, we can take this same guidance to heart. Together – we will ALL get through this. Amen and amen.
I was standing in my kitchen today listening to calming Gaelic music and I looked over to see this old game cup sitting on the counter.
It struck me the view I had of it was “Not Afraid” with the background a wall hanging of my life verse, Proverbs 3:5-6. “TRUST in the Lord…with ALL your heart…” and here is the rest of it, “lean not on to your own understanding and in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will set your paths straight.”
To all my loved ones out there who own real estate in my heart and, that’s anyone who can actually read this because I don’t allow anyone I don’t personally know to follow my Instagram, I just want to assure you no matter where your own faith is, there is a divine hand in the middle of all of this. Troubles will come. We all have been part of that in our lives and it will happen again that big trouble slams into us.
That is called living. I have lived long enough to know that some way or another this too will pass. So please, stay calm, make smart decisions and use this time to show kindness and love and selflessness to those around you, and especially to those who could use your help.
Go ahead and Google how many times in the Bible God lists scriptures that says “do not fear.”
I’ll tell you the answer, 356 times in the Bible – one for each day of your life in a year.
As a community, as friends, as families, and as Americans if we continually choose to do the right thing for each other, we will be stronger and better and our nation will be too.
This is not a time for acrimony. Finger pointing or anger and vitriol.
THIS is a time to practice what we preach- E PLURIBUS UNUM.
OK enough drama from me, now know that I am sending love and praying blessings over all of you. Xo 🥰Mama T
