On Time

Wait for me! How many times have I been late to catch a train or bus, or delayed in responding to my child’s call with repercussion? I have missed my bosses’ deadline with boss’s bad report, late catching bus/train and arrived late for a meeting with a customer, missing him and no sale. I have been slow to respond to my child and he fell and was hospitalized. The worst consequence of being late will be us missing the rapture (when Jesus comes to take His church away,) if we are not ready. What is the cause of my being late? lack of discipline, tardiness< thinking it is ok to be a little late, it does not matter. Why stress?

Romans 13:11-14 Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
