Expat Friends

No man or woman is an island. You cannot stay alone. Friends will add to my fun on expat assignment, they will encourage me. Hopefully they will not lead me into hard times.

At the workplace, I should have an ally who can watch my back, give advice or encourage me to continue courageously as I face challenges at work. A mentor at work, church or family I work with, will be a blessing. I should build relationships with the Lord’s guidance and discernment.

Lord, please open my eyes to persons who can be my friends or mentor. Help me to reach out to them so that we can be mutually helpful as necessary.
