FILIPINO EXPAT ENCOURAGEMENT 87

NOTE IF YOU HAVE BEEN BLESSED, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD TO YOUR FRIENDS Just key in “ptl2010.com”

Be careful what you wish for

Ungodly cravings lead to death.  When we follow our fleshly appetites, they will lead us astray. They will take over our thinking, our passions and rule our lives and the worst thing God can do is GIVE us what we ask for…give us our craving!

Have you ever been in a fix and asked the Lord to let you have whatever first comes into your mind? Be careful lest it not be the best thing for you. So do not demand but ask for the will of God to be done.

Isaiah 55:8-9 tells us “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

It may be His will to take some loved one who is ill, to be with Him. Do not insist for life alone as it may lead to pain and suffering physically, mentally and financial hardship, if we do not ask according to His will and plan.

Do not insist on gett ing another job when your present job is more long=term and the job you are asking for is temporary. If you have a difficult employer whom the Lord has appointed as your supervisor to train you , do not ask for a seemingly better employer who may be more interested in himself than you.
