“IF YOU SEEK ME, YOU WILL FIND ME, WHEN YOU SEEK ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART.” JEREMIAH 29:13
It is so easy to be overcome
To lose sight of the Son
It may feel so hopeless
This world seems undone
The unrest, the fear
The unknown and the dark
Oh sweet one stay patient
Don’t let trials hold your heart
None of this trouble
Is a surprise to Our Lord
Most of these happenings
Can be found in His Word
Don’t be surprised
You know His light always wins
The darkness will pass
Man must stop profligate sin
God knows what He’s doing
Because pain causes change
We children must trust Him
To right the wrongs in His name
So hold on to Hope
Open hearts and our minds
Allow trouble and challenge
To cleanse and to find
In the end God is Sovereign
And wants better than this
Are these troubles our corrections
In this season of sift?
Hold on to God’s truth
We must look for His face
He is there right beside us
For the whole human race
He calls to the people
The young and the old
The brown, black, white and yellow
The shy and the bold
Our Creator does love all
If only allowed
We must answer His whisper
Our Egos so proud
“If my people,” He says
“Who are called by my name
Will repent and turn back
I will release them of shame
I will heal the unholy
I will clean up your land
If you seek me and follow
You will live in My Hand”
So brother and sister
Known and unknown
Seek Jesus as Saviour
In Him alone make your home
This world may feel crazy
You may feel undone
It may feel so hopeless
So seek Hope in His Son
A wonderful poem, so up lifting and close to the heart when going through varies trials.
God does His deepest work in our darkest hours.
Thank you for reading. It all came tumbling out this morning.
Thank you so much for your words of affirmation. You are so right. It seems the light enters the darkest and then we are reminded of hope only found in our Creator.
