Blaming others
Who started the blame game? It started right in the Garden of Eden
Genesis 3:12-13 The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.” Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
The world also plays this blame game and so do we as we have adopted the ways of sin and the world and to avoid the consequences of wrong-doing. Who broke this cup? Who delayed this project? Who is the cause for this loss? Not I but him or her. I watched and he/she did it.
Proverbs 28:13 Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.
Proverbs 21:2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.
Do I want to be right in my eyes? Or do I want to do what is right in the Lord’s eyes?
