My 2 year old nephew bonded well for one year with my father, his grandfather . One day he visited his grandfather’s room as he regularly did. But where is Kong (grandpa)? “He is gone to heaven.” Puzzled he looked for his dad. Dad held him close and told him Kong had moved house to heaven. Next time he visited grandpa’s room he said “grandpa no more. – heaven” pointing upwards as his dad did.

Death to the Christian is moving from earth to heaven. For non-Christians it is a time of eternal separation. For the Christian, although natural grieving is for a while there is hope for meeting up with Christian loved-ones one day. One Filipina lost her husband to COVID-19 while he was in the Philippines and she in Singapore. She had spoken to him that morning, promising to return to see him. He passed away in early afternoon and she did not make it home to say farewell or to attend his funeral due to travel restrictions. It was a sad day but she was comforted that both had accepted the Lord Jesus as their Savior. Are you and your loved ones prepared to say goodbye ? Will it be an eternal separation and much grief or will there be hope of meeting again? Be prepared with loved onesmwo meet in heaven while there is breath. There is no chance to decide after death.

John 14:14 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
