Bribes and covert sin

In many countries, bribes play a great part to keep the business wheels churning. I found corruption in the countries where my audits took place. Corruption may be given “under the table” but inevitably they will be found out and made public.

Numbers 32:23 be sure your sin will find you out.

There is no limitation for time when a sin will be found out and justice and punishment will be meted. No matter how much care is taken to cover up the sin, it will be revealed. There can be repentance and forgiveness but whatever a man sows, he will reap the consequences of the sin. The only true salvation at death is from sin itself, assured to us through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.  Let’s confess our sins and do not be involved in covert sin.
