“Emmanuel” means God with us. Let us rejoice as we call upon Emmanuel to be with us. He brings us hope where there is no hope in the darkness of sin, He brings us protection where it unsisafe and we are open to the wiles of the evil one. He helps us in our infirmities and gives us comfort in our moments of sorrow, loss, weakness and failures. He lifts us up when we are down and depressed and hides us under His wings. O what a difference to live with Emmmanuel’s Presence in our lives. No matter hat wbefalls us, terrorises or tempts us He is able to do the impossible for us and makes it possible for us to live in victory above sin’s control and temptations.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
