Little Drummer Boy

Is the little drummer boy is a personification of us? Poor in our sin state, yet He calls us. Poor because we have not much to offer Him but we are willing. We are willing to give Him our best that we have – he gave his drummer and his talent. How has it been with you this 2020? Do you feel poor in spirit? Do you feel dejected because you lost your loved one to Covid? You lost your job? Jesus calls us of all backgrounds and colour, rich and poor. All He wants is for us to acknowledge Him as Lord of our lives and let Him have control. Have we lived in submission to His will in 2020 or have we rebelled? He stands in the shadows waiting for you to let Him have His way in your life. Will you do it now and start the new year with a fresh dedication to Him?
