Resist

Each time we resist a temptation or a challenge we grow in grace as He strengthens us because we trust in Him. We must not live according to the standards of the world for we are not of this world and must be transformed . If we just submit to our peers and the bad habits and values of this world we will not please God, our Father. It takes courage to stand against peer pressure and ridicule of men. .. we must resist and not rollover and submit to the wiles of the enemy.

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
