Change

Everything around us may change, people, family, work, church, friends. When we are overwhelmed know that these do not change. God does not change and we can depend and rest on Him. The Word of God does not change and we can stand on His promises. The character of man does not change – he/she is sinful and only can be saved by God’s grace. The way to God has not changed – only through Jesus/ blood, repentance, forgiveness of sin, and redemption from sin.

Numbers 23:19

“For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.

God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
