Safe

Psalm 91:1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.^[a]
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
    my God, in whom I trust.”

No one can keep you totally safe except the Lord God. When I feel safe I can rest. When I dwell in the shelter of the Most High I am safe – physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually. Through 2020 those of us who did not fall sick with Covid-19 were protected as He was our shield and fortress. Imagine being surrounded by Him and in Him. Does it mean that those inflicted by Covid-19 were not protected? No, He allowed it to show you His love beyond the sickness. Those who did not make it through Covid-19 were most loved as He took them to Himself, safe in the arms of Jesus and safe from the troubles in the world.

In this transient world let us not be fearful for His love surrounds us. He gives His angels charge over us. He said He will never leave us. So with Him, I am safe. Thank You, Lord Jesus.
