I hear the kids laugh heartily and play at poolside between four to six p.m on weekdays. They adjourn to poolside to release from the stresses of schoolwork of the day . They let themselves go – competing with one another, slapping each other on the back, encouraging in competition, joking, throwing ball , aiming water jets at one another with glee and in fun. They have abandoned all concerns and are enjoying humble fun with no strings attached. Have we stopped having simple fun and enjoying the freedom the Lord gives to us? Sometimes it is nice to be like little children – trusting, not malicious, playful and enjoying ourselves.
Matthew 18 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this little child is the greatest in heaven.
