FILIPINO EXPATRIATE ENCOURAGEMENT 140

He is able

Far away from home, sometimes may be frustrating and helpless for us to help loved ones. My home helper has felt that way with the current civil war in Myanmar. While she works in my home and has everything she needs – rest, sleep, shelter, food and even some enjoyment, her family consisting of mother and seven dependendt brothers and sisters and living in insecurity as raids, shooting, looting and bombings take place in the night because it is too hot in the day for the army. Internet access is denied and many who work overseas are deprived of the ability to remit money home to families. They have earned the money needed but cannot send home. Many feel helpless especially where they have elderly at home who are sick and even have to hide in the jungles from the maruauders.

In such situation the only thing that can be done is to trust in the Lord with all their hearts, knowing that the Lord is their only Helper in such situations.

Isaiah 59:1 , the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

Have you committed your loved ones at home to the Lord in prayer? If not be reminded although your ar arms and means are too short to help your loved ones at home, the Lord’ hand is not too short to save them. The great thing is He hears when we call.
