FILIPINO EXPATRIATE ENCOURAGEMENT 147

Filled by His Spirit

O how many people dare begin the day without their cups being filled by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit gives power over sin and temptations, He helps us overcome weaknesses of the flesh, He protects from our enemies and the enemy of our soul. He guides us along paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. He provides for our every need. His Presence assures that the Lord is in control of every situation we may ever face and we need not be gripped by fear or despair. We need not feel overwhelmed or hopeless. We need not be depressed for the fight belongs to the Lord and He will fight for us. and lead us on.

I encourage you to ask the Lord to fill you today and every day even as you begin the day or whatever whereever you are along life’s journey. You have not experienced His full measure of blessing without Him. Praise God who is our Comforter and prays for us in unknown tongues when we cannot even pray for ourselves. Glory to the Name of Jesus!

Acts 1:8
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Luke 11:13
“If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

1 Corinthians 6:19
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own.

Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.

Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Romans 8:26
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
